When Jesus is speaking to His Father, He speaks to Him not from earth, He speaks to Him heart to heart, and it is not even Father to Son, it is Spirit to Spirit.

 

That’s why when Jesus said: “The words that I speak are Spirit and life,” (see John 6:63) that is what He is talking about.
