Verses
1 Corinthians 15:42-44
“So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.”
Ephesians 1:19-20
“And what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places.”
John 8:12
“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’”
2 Corinthians 4:6
“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 2:15
“That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.”
Reflection
The resurrection is our foundation in Christ.
It is not merely a theoretical doctrine or a future event. It is the basis of our spiritual existence right now. Everything we are in Christ is founded on the power of His resurrection.
The resurrection dwells in our spirit.
It is not something external that we hope to receive someday. It is already present, already operating in us. The same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in our spirit, transforming us from within.
The resurrection permeates our spirit with immortal life.
This life is not simply an extension of natural life. It is life from another dimension, eternal life, incorruptible life that is already operating within us. Our spirit has been quickened with the very nature of Christ’s resurrection.
But the light that illuminates us comes from God’s Raquia above us.
Here is the profound connection: although the resurrection dwells in our spirit, the illumination, the revelation, the visible manifestation of that life comes from above, from the heavenly Raquia where God’s throne is established.
We have a heavenly body that will illuminate our lives.
This heavenly body, our being established before the foundation of the world, is not passive. It is active. It is a source of light, a lamp that is connected to the firmament of God and that should illuminate our earthly existence.
When our heavenly body is activated and connected to the firmament, our life on earth is illuminated. We receive revelation, understanding, and direction. We do not walk in darkness or confusion, but in the light that comes from above.
In the spiritual world, Jesus is our light and shines from the Raquia and is our light.
Christ is not only the light that shines in us. He is the supreme Light that rules from the heavenly Raquia. Just as the sun rules the day and the moon rules the night, Jesus rules from His position in the heavenly firmament, illuminating all that exists.
He is the Sun of righteousness that shines from the Raquia upon us, connecting our heavenly body with the throne of God, activating the resurrection that dwells in our spirit, allowing that immortal life to manifest itself in fullness.
When we are connected to Jesus as our light in the Raquia, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God shines in our hearts. We do not walk in darkness. We do not operate from our earthly limitations. We shine like lights in the midst of a generation that walks in darkness.
The resurrection within us and the light from the Raquia above us come together to produce a full, authentic, powerful life that reflects God’s rule on earth.
Meditation for today
Take a moment to reflect:
Do I recognize that the resurrection of Christ already dwells in my spirit? Am I connected to the light that comes from God’s Raquia above me? Is my heavenly body illuminating my earthly life, or do I still walk in confusion and darkness?
Ask the Lord to activate the connection between the resurrection in your spirit and the light that comes from the heavenly Raquia, so that you may shine like a light in this world.
Prayer
Father, I recognize that the resurrection is my foundation in Christ, who dwells in my spirit and fills it with immortal life.
I activate the connection with the light that comes from God’s Raquia upon me.
May my heavenly body, established before the foundation of the world, illuminate my earthly life with the light that comes from the throne.
I declare that Jesus is my light in the spiritual world, that He illuminates from the heavenly Raquia and is my light.
May the resurrection within me and the light from above unite to produce a full life that reflects Your glory.
May I not walk in darkness or confusion, but shine as a light in the midst of this generation, manifesting the power of Your resurrection.
