Genesis 2:8 “Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed.”
Genesis 2:19 “Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them.”
Reflection
In Genesis 2:8 we can see how God, once He created man, plants a garden in Eden and there He puts the man He had formed.
In Genesis 2:19 God formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky.
Let’s remember that in Genesis 1 God created the birds and put them over the raquia of the Shamayin but now we see that the birds were formed from the dust of the earth.
Everything we see on earth existed first in the heavens.
Genesis 1 describes the heavenly and invisible creation. Genesis 2 describes the physical formation of what already existed in the heavenly. The birds were first created as living beings in the heavenly raquia, then they were physically formed from the dust of the earth.
First we were created in His image and then we received the physical body and our souls.
Our heavenly identity precedes our earthly manifestation. First we were established as luminaries before the throne, created in God’s image in the invisible dimensions. Then we were formed from the dust and received physical body and soul. The earthly is a manifestation of the heavenly.
Meditation for Today
Do I understand that everything I see on earth existed first in the heavens? Do I recognize that I was created first in God’s image and then physically formed?
Prayer
Father, reveal that everything that exists on earth existed first in the heavens.
May I understand that I was created first in Your image in the invisible dimensions, and then physically formed from the dust.
My heavenly identity precedes my earthly manifestation, and I operate from that eternal reality.
Amen.
Blessings beloved
