I want you to think about this. Jesus is explaining to the people that John was the greatest prophet ever to be born of a woman. That’s greater than Isaiah, Ezekiel, all of the prophets that were prophesying Jesus coming and being the Messiah, John was greater.
Why? Because his name, like Jesus, were the only two names in the Bible, prophesied “to come”.
All the other prophets never even were recorded in the scriptures of coming. So, John was the greatest prophet up until Jesus, ever to be written about in the scripture. So, when we think about prophets, there’s none greater than John, and Jesus says, “those who are least in the Kingdom of God are greater than this prophet”
