Jesus said, “I am not doing the works, the Father is doing the works.” Jesus was conscious of what His Father was doing and He knew the works had already been done.

If you have preconceived ideas of the way things are supposed to be, you are not conscious, because Jesus was aware that the works were done. It was the people around Him that were amazed by the miracles He was doing, because they were still waiting for the Messiah.
