You are not judged by what you do, you are judged by what you don’t believe.

So, sin is this unbelief that creates your connection with this dimension.

What Jesus did through His resurrection was take away all of the authority that this dimension had over persecuting you for wrong, for unbelief, for anything you do. Anything you “do” was covered and totally broken through His resurrection. 

So people are afraid of death because they are still connected to this world’s system, and they have not released their control to the rulership of Christ when He resurrected. All of this system was defeated by Christ’s resurrection.
