Romans 6:4 “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Hebrews 12:14 “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”
Colossians 3:2–3 “Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
Reflection
It is essential to understand the beauty of holiness in our lives — a holiness that arises from resurrection.
True holiness is not human effort nor merely external behavior. It is the result of a life that has passed through death and resurrection in Christ.
However, for resurrection to occur, death must come first.
God does not speak of death as a simple idea, a religious metaphor, or a theological position. He refers to a profound spiritual reality: the death of the old nature, the ego, and everything that is not aligned with His truth.
Only when something dies can something new be resurrected.
Holiness is born from this resurrected life.
It is a genuine essence and substance that transforms our inner being. It is not appearance, but nature. Not effort, but transformation.
Holiness must dwell in our minds and in our thoughts. It must align our understanding with heaven and with divine truth.
When our minds align with God, our thoughts change. When our thoughts change, our lives are transformed.
This connection with the heavenly produces a full and authentic life — a life that reflects the love, grace, and nature of God.
Holiness does not limit life — it reveals it. It does not restrict the heart — it frees it. It is not loss — it is fullness.
It is the visible evidence of a life that has been resurrected with Christ.
Meditation for Today
Take a moment to reflect:
Am I allowing God to transform my thoughts and my mind? Are there areas of my life that need to die so His resurrected life may be manifested in me? Does my life reflect the holiness that comes from real communion with God?
Ask the Lord to align your mind with His truth and produce resurrection life within you.
Prayer
Father, teach me the beauty of holiness that comes from You.
Allow everything that does not come from Your truth to die within me, and let Your resurrection life transform my inner being.
Align my mind with heaven, purify my thoughts, and form in me an authentic life that reflects Your love and Your grace.
