The sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.”

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”
Reflection
In the book of Revelation, John interacts with the living beings, and this interaction will break the seals.
The living beings are not passive observers. They are directly connected to the throne in the heavenly realm, and when the Lamb opens the seals, they are the ones who proclaim, “Come and see.” This is a demonstration of heavenly government in action.
When the false realm falls, it is because good and evil alike all have a star.
Not only the children of God have heavenly representation. Powerful evil beings also establish their influence in the spiritual realm. The enemy created a false realm where principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness operate.
When God is about to bring judgment upon the powerful of the earth, He literally rolls up the heavens.
This is not merely poetic language. It is the description of an act of divine judgment where God removes the spiritual firmament that upholds wicked rule. As He did in Jerusalem in the year 70, when He removed all the powerful and wicked who were oppressing Israel, as well as the hypocrites and Pharisees.
The judgment upon Jerusalem was not only physical destruction. It was the collapse of an entire spiritual system. The corrupt religious authorities, the oppressive leaders, the powers that ruled from a false authority—all were removed when God rolled up their heavens.
When the Lord rolls up the heavens, those beings cease to exist.
Their authority is canceled. Their rule is overthrown. Their spiritual influence is completely nullified. The stars fall from the sky, the firmament is rolled up like a scroll, and the entire system that sustained their power collapses.
This is God's judgment on every spiritual structure that rises up against His truth: it is not only defeated, it is completely dismantled. The heavens that upheld their rule are rolled up, and their existence as an authority is erased.
Meditation for Today
Do I acknowledge that God has absolute authority to remove every evil government established in the spiritual realm? Do I trust that He will roll up the false heavens that oppress His people?
Prayer
Father, I acknowledge that when You bring judgment upon the powerful wicked of the earth, You literally roll up the heavens that uphold their rule.
I declare that every false authority established by the enemy will be removed, that the stars of the wicked will fall, and that their authority will be completely nullified.
May Your justice prevail, may the oppressors be deposed, and may Your true heavenly government be manifested on earth.
