Proverbs 25:2
“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
but the glory of kings is to search it out.”
John 16:12
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.”
Reflection
Most revelations are not lost because they are false, but because people do not wait for them.
When a revelation is not immediately understood, the hurried mind discards it. We live in an accelerated generation that demands instant comprehension, but God does not reveal Himself at the speed of human haste.
Revelation was not designed to be consumed quickly, but to be inhabited.
Revelation Requires Time
Pearls take time.
Revelation takes time.
God releases truths that must be chewed, contemplated, and revisited again and again until the spirit is able to embrace them with understanding.
True revelation has many angles. It does not force itself, nor does it explain itself immediately. It unfolds progressively to those who know how to remain before God without anxiety.
The problem is not that God does not speak.
The problem is that we do not want to give God time.
In our acceleration, we not only lose revelation, we lose life and purpose. Purpose is not discovered in haste, but in waiting.
God does not compete with the speed of this age.
He speaks to those who know how to be still.
Meditation for Today
Take a moment and examine your heart:
Am I discarding revelations because I do not understand them immediately?
Am I willing to remain before God without demanding quick answers?
Do I value speed more than spiritual depth?
Allow the Holy Spirit to teach you how to wait.
Prayer
Father,
I renounce the haste that robs the depth of Your revelation.
Teach me to wait on You, to honor the timings of the Spirit, and to remain until Your truth completes its work in me.
Remove from my heart the anxiety to understand everything immediately
and give me a sensitive, patient, and humble spirit
to receive, guard, and live out Your revelation.
I want to honor the process,
because in waiting, life is formed,
and in revelation, purpose is unveiled.
Amen.
