Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
John 10:27 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Reflection
I decided to enter deeply into the Lord, because if something was going to mold and put my life in a box, I didn’t want to lose the target, and this had to be what the Lord was speaking.
What molds control your thoughts?
Are you listening to what the Lord says or what Theology says?
This is the most important question you can ask yourself. Theological molds can become boxes that limit what God wants to do in your life. It’s not about rejecting all theology, but making sure your theology doesn’t replace the Lord’s direct voice.
Many prefer to listen to what their theological tradition says rather than what the Lord is speaking to them now. And so they lose the target, like the Pharisees who knew the scriptures but didn’t recognize Christ.
The Lord’s sheep hear His voice. Not the voice of their systems, not the voice of their traditions, but His voice. And they follow Him, even if that means breaking the molds that controlled their thoughts.
Meditation for Today
What molds control my thoughts? Do I listen to the Lord’s voice or only validate what I already believe? Am I willing to break the molds so I don’t lose the target?
Prayer
Father, I don’t want to lose the target by being trapped in theological molds.
Break every mold that controls my thoughts and prevents me from hearing Your voice.
May I hear what You say, not just what my theology allows.
Transform my understanding so I may know Your perfect will.
Amen.
Blessings beloved
