Regarding what opposes us being sons and the importance of the unity of the sons. Nowadays, we see a completely fragmented church, divided into more than 40,000 denominations, and even within the same local church, everyone is divided. If there is any discussion, they split, leave, and fight, like little children. So, what will be the unity of the sons, which carries this tremendous power?
One of the characteristics of the Father is that the Father is one. One does not mean a number, but a unity. One is the capacity to unify all things; that is why Jesus had in the Father the ability to unify all things, and Jesus, as the Son, is the only one who can build this oneness, empowering the sons of God in an increasingly important avalanche of power. And this only happens by knowing the Father.
Now, let’s talk about the spirit of orphanhood; I do not want you to see it as a demonic spirit that has possessed the children. It is not a demonic spirit; it is a spiritual condition within the human being. It is a condition that we have formed since we were born into this world, often starting from the womb, where a distorted being is formed. This distortion, caused by not knowing the Father, leads people to live in the voids of this world, in the needs of this world, in the lack of fullness that the system of this world perpetuates.
But in the fullness of God, which only the Father can give, is where we become sons. So, this orphan you speak of is the condition of the fallen nature that we have within us. It is not a spirit that can be rejected; saying, “In the name of Jesus, I rebuke the orphan that is in me, and now I am a son” is not the right approach. I must identify what the attitudes of orphans are.
We will analyze deeply what these attitudes are that we have been formed in Latin America. It is very evident how the nature of the orphan has developed within a whole idiosyncrasy, within a whole culture in us. And this is the most significant enemy you will face.
Unfortunately, one of the issues the church faces today is that it has focused on Jesus of Nazareth, centering on Jesus and the works that He did. But there is a terrible ignorance of the Father. The Father is mentioned superficially, as “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,” but the focus is on Jesus. Jesus is the one who performed miracles; we must confess that “Jesus is Lord, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.” This brings a profound ignorance of who the Father is.
It is very important, in order to grow in our spiritual identity, to let the Father be formed in us. We grow as a church by unifying, which is the most important characteristic of love. Love unifies; the oneness of God unifies as the Father is formed in us, and the light begins to shine in us.
The people who were in darkness represent the orphan. Let’s see the people as a microcosm within ourselves. Amen. The people who were in darkness, the orphan within me, saw a great light. What is that great light? It is that the Father has begun to manifest because I am seeking the Father.
As the light of the Father begins to radiate within me, I start to see characteristics of my personality that are more identified with the orphan within me than with the nature of the Father.
Blessings beloved
