Genesis 1:1–2
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty… and the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”
🕊️ Reflection
Look at yourself closely.
Even in our fallen nature from Adam, the entire mineral kingdom still dwells within us. This kingdom is deeply connected to heaven—existing even before any visible form of life appeared on the earth.
Before organic life was manifested, minerals were already present.
Everything God creates, He creates with life.
Before life was expressed as we know it, minerals already existed as beautiful beings in heaven, created to reflect His glory.
📖 Job 38:4–7
“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth… when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”
💎 Precious stones and heavenly worship
Every precious stone is connected to a heavenly dimension.
Scripture reveals that the anointed cherub was adorned with precious stones.
📖 Ezekiel 28:13
“You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you…”
This shows us that precious stones are not decoration;
they are instruments of worship, living reflections of the Lord’s glory.
When God spoke to create the earth, He first spoke from His blood, and within that blood were all living minerals.
Then came oxygen, and the Ruach of God moving over the waters, activating creation.
📖 Genesis 2:7
“Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life…”
🌊 Process, pressure, and formation
Even in the natural world, creation testifies to this truth.
When oxygen interacts with water and minerals—not by magic, but over thousands of years—the minerals begin to crystallize.
According to pressure, time, and composition, precious stones are formed.
This physical process reflects a spiritual truth:
glory is not lost in the process—it is revealed.
📖 Romans 1:20
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities… have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…”
🌿 Eden: a reflection of heaven
When God created Eden, precious stones were everywhere.
They were not hidden.
They were created to be a visible reflection of heaven on earth.
📖 Revelation 4:2–3
“And the One seated there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.”
The throne of God is surrounded by precious stones.
Each one represents a dimension of His glory.
Imagine Eden:
green plains shimmering with emeralds,
living flowers releasing fragrance,
mountains of rubies and mystical quartz reflecting the light.
There was no visible sun or stars.
A cloud covered the garden.
The light of Christ moved across every precious stone,
and heavenly beings walked in the midst of that glory.
📖 Genesis 2:10–12
“…and the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx are there.”
🍂 The fall and the hiding of glory
When humanity fell and lost the glory with which it was created, the earth no longer reflected the glory of God.
Creation was affected by human choices.
📖 Romans 8:20–22
“For the creation was subjected to futility… and the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.”
The precious stones did not disappear.
They were hidden.
The earth no longer reflected heaven,
but the corruption introduced by the fall.
🕯️ Meditation for Today
Take a few moments in silence and reflect:
What dimensions of God’s glory have been hidden within me?
What was designed to shine but is now buried?
Am I willing to allow God to restore what was created to reflect heaven?
Do not try to imagine.
Allow the Spirit to remember with you.
🙏 Prayer
Father,
I acknowledge that I was created to reflect Your glory.
Restore in me what was hidden by the fall.
Let Your Spirit once again move over my waters,
bringing order, life, and radiance.
Unearth what was created to worship You.
Amen.
📌 Glory was not lost—it was reserved to be revealed.
