“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” (John 1:4-5)

So, in this description in John 1, the light that is in Christ, in Him where life is, that came into this dimension and separated the darkness in this dimension from this light.

Now, you have to follow this. The darkness in Genesis is the spiritual dimension that has everything in it. There is no way to describe that dimension other than “formless, void, and darkness.” In this dimension, the third dimension where we physically reside, there is a darkness of the fourth day and a darkness that is spiritual. Spiritual darkness is the unbelief that exists in men who do not believe in Christ. That is part of this dimension in which we live. But it does not affect you who are in Him, because it says:

John 1:5
“And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

That means that the darkness in this dimension cannot overcome that light of the First Day.
