Reflection
Light has the ability to reveal and make manifest what was hidden. From the beginning, God spoke and light appeared, marking the beginning of the manifestation of His design in creation. Scripture teaches us that visible things originate from invisible realities, and that it is the word and glory of God that bring into expression what was contained within His eternal purpose.
Christ is the true Light, and in Him we receive not only salvation but also the ability to see from the perspective of the Kingdom. The light of heaven does not merely illuminate; it also reveals, orders, and manifests. When something is exposed to God’s light, it begins to align with His truth and His design. Therefore, spiritual growth consists in living increasingly under the radiance of Christ.
The New Jerusalem is described as a city illuminated by the glory of God and by the Lamb. This light is not merely external illumination, but a spiritual reality in which the children of God are called to live. The more we remain in the light of His presence, the more His nature, thoughts, and purposes become real within us.
What is conceived in the realm of the Spirit can find expression on earth through lives surrendered to the Lord. As we live immersed in the light of the New Jerusalem, we cease to walk only according to the limitations of this world and begin to reflect the design of heaven. The light of the Kingdom makes visible what God has conceived from eternity and allows His glory to be manifested through His children.
Meditation for Today
Am I living under the light of Christ or under the limited perspective of this world?
Am I allowing the glory of God to illuminate and transform my way of thinking?
Am I reflecting on earth the design that God has conceived in heaven?
Prayer
Father, thank You because in Christ You have called me to live in Your light and under the radiance of Your glory. Thank You because Your eternal purpose is to reveal Your design and manifest Your Kingdom through Your children.
Illuminate my understanding and allow me to live increasingly aware of heavenly realities. Immerse me in the light of the New Jerusalem and form within me what You have conceived from eternity. May Your glory be reflected in my life, and through Your Spirit may I manifest on earth the designs of Your heart. Amen.
