Philippians 3:9–11
“…and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.”
Romans 4:20–22
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore ‘it was accounted to him for righteousness.'”
2 Corinthians 3:18
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Reflection
Scripture reveals a profound connection between faith, righteousness, and the power of the resurrection. Paul declared that his deepest desire was to be found in Christ with the righteousness that comes through faith, so that he might know Him and experience the power of His resurrection. These truths cannot be separated: faith leads us into the righteousness of God, and righteousness opens the way for a life transformed by the power of Christ.
Biblical faith is not merely intended to obtain temporary blessings, but to conform us to the image of the Son of God. Abraham believed God even when the circumstances seemed impossible, and his faith was credited to him as righteousness. His confidence did not rest in the systems of this world, but in the God who gives life and faithfully fulfills His promises.
For this reason, the Lord calls us to lift our eyes above what is visible. Whatever we place our trust in will shape the direction of our lives. When our faith is focused only on temporary things, our vision of the Kingdom becomes dim. But when it is fixed on Christ and the power of His resurrection, we begin to be transformed from glory to glory into His likeness.
God desires to mature our faith so that we may know Christ more deeply. True spiritual growth is found in living from the reality of His resurrection, allowing His life to be revealed through us and placing our complete confidence in Him.
Meditation for Today
Where is my faith anchored—in temporary realities, or in Christ and His Kingdom?
Am I allowing the power of the resurrection to transform the way I live?
Is my greatest desire to know Christ more deeply and to become more like Him?
Prayer
Father, thank You that in Christ You have given me the righteousness that comes through faith and have opened the way for me to know You more deeply. Thank You that the power of the resurrection continues to work in the lives of all who trust in You.
Strengthen my faith so that it remains firmly rooted in Your promises rather than in the circumstances of this world. Help me grow in the knowledge of Christ and in the power of His resurrection until my life reflects more and more of His character and His glory. May all my confidence rest in You, and may my heart live fully for Your Kingdom.
Amen.
Blessings beloved
