Reflection
The goal of faith is not merely to wait, but to grow continually in the knowledge of Christ. Jesus taught that we must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. This spiritual vision begins at the new birth and continues to develop as the Holy Spirit reveals the person of Christ to us more deeply.
The apostle John declares, “When He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” This promise points to the glorious hope of Christ’s full revelation, while also reminding us of a present reality: every time we behold Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit, our lives are transformed into His likeness. Knowing Christ is never static; it is a lifelong journey of growth and renewal.
Faith matures when it is no longer focused only on visible realities but learns to behold the realities of the Kingdom. The power of the resurrection is at work within us, forming the character of Christ, renewing our minds, and transforming us from glory to glory. The more deeply we know Him, the more clearly we reflect His life.
God desires that our faith remain centered on His Son. Transformation does not come through human effort, but through a living relationship with Christ. As we fix our eyes on Him, the Holy Spirit continually conforms us to His likeness and empowers us to live according to the reality of His Kingdom.
Meditation for Today
Is my greatest desire to know Christ more deeply?
Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to transform my life as I behold Jesus?
Am I living according to the reality of God’s Kingdom, or only according to what my natural eyes can see?
Prayer
Father, thank You that through Your Spirit I can know You more deeply each day. Open the eyes of my understanding so that I may behold the glory of Christ and live according to the reality of Your Kingdom.
Keep my faith centered on Jesus and on the power of His resurrection. Transform me from glory to glory until I reflect more and more of His character. May my life be a testimony of Your work and a visible expression of Your Kingdom on the earth.
