Romans 8:29
“For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son…”
Philippians 3:10
“…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection…”
Reflection
The faith that justifies is not a static faith, but a faith that produces transformation. God not only calls us to believe in Christ, but to grow continually until we reflect His image. The purpose of the Gospel is to conform us to the Son, allowing His life to become increasingly visible in us.
Scripture reveals that as we behold the glory of the Lord, we are transformed from glory to glory through the work of the Holy Spirit. Beholding Christ is not merely an intellectual exercise, but a spiritual experience that renews our minds, strengthens our faith, and progressively conforms us to His character.
To live in this reality, our way of thinking must also be renewed. Too often we try to understand the truths of the Kingdom from a merely natural perspective, but God invites us to develop a mind renewed by His Spirit. Faith learns to look beyond what is visible and to embrace God’s promises as a present reality that transforms our lives.
The power of the resurrection does not only guarantee our future hope; it is also at work today in those who remain united with Christ. As we come to know Him more deeply, our lives are shaped by His presence, and our faith matures until it reflects the image of the One we behold.
Meditation for Today
Am I beholding Christ in a way that transforms my life?
Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to renew the way I think?
Is my greatest desire to reflect more and more of the character of Jesus?
Prayer
Father, thank You that Your desire is to conform me to the image of Your Son. Thank You that through Your Spirit You continue to transform my life from glory to glory as I remain in Christ.
Renew my mind so that I may behold Your glory with an open heart and a growing faith. Help me to know more deeply the power of the resurrection and to reflect the character of Jesus in everything I do. May my life be an expression of Your transforming work and of the reality of Your Kingdom.
Amen.
Blessings beloved
