1 Corinthians 3:16 “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?”
Revelation 21:3 “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.'”
Reflection
I believe no one has any problem believing that God is in our midst because we are the temple of the Holy Spirit and that He has built His temple in us.
Now, DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE that His tabernacle is in us and that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit?
Is this for the future or is it now? NOW, correct, this is very simple.
Revelation 21:3 says: “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.”
The problem is that someone decided to put the book of Revelation at the end of the Bible.
And that’s why we read this verse as something future, when in reality it’s describing what is already true now. God’s tabernacle is already with men. He already dwells with us. We are already His people. This is present reality, not future promise.
Preconceived ideas about the order of books and end times have stolen from us the power to live in what is already reality: we are the temple of the Holy Spirit now.
Meditation for Today
Do I really believe I am the temple of the Holy Spirit now, or do I see this as something future? Have preconceived ideas stolen from me the power to live in this present reality?
Prayer
Father, I declare that I am the temple of the Holy Spirit now, not in the future.
Your tabernacle is with men now, You dwell with us now.
Break the preconceived ideas that make me see as future what is already present reality.
May I live in the power of being Your temple today.
Amen.
Remember to come back tomorrow so we can go deep into this topic
