Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
2 Timothy 2:2 “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
Reflection
The church has failed greatly because it has wanted to give everything to people on a silver platter.
It has believed that making disciples is bringing them everything they should believe and think on a silver platter: “This is how you will speak and preach, and don’t step outside these parameters or you’ll be expelled from the Church.”
By doing this we have not only NOT created disciples but have only created indoctrinated people.
Jesus didn’t say “indoctrinate all nations.” He said “make disciples.” A disciple is someone who learns to be led by the Spirit, not someone who memorizes a religious control system.
Indoctrinated people whose bodies are a disaster and whose spiritual life leaves much to be desired.
Because religion without the Spirit doesn’t produce life. It produces external conformity without internal transformation. It produces knowledge about God without consciousness of His presence. And the result is visible: sick bodies, fragmented souls, powerless lives.
Meditation for Today
Am I a disciple led by the Spirit or an indoctrinated person following religious parameters? Does my life reflect genuine transformation or just external conformity?
Prayer
Father, I don’t want to be indoctrinated people but a true disciple led by Your Spirit.
Break me from religious control systems and teach me to follow You genuinely.
May my life reflect real transformation in spirit, soul and body.
Amen.
Blessings beloved
