Proverbs 14:30 “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.”
Reflection
The power of our emotions is linked to diseases.
We think it’s okay to be angry with one another, or to say “I am of Paul and you are of Apollos.” THIS IS NOT OKAY. This is a thought from hell, not an option or alternative. The heavens reject this.
Division will divide your soul.
And when division, hatred, envy, resentment and all these feelings are within you, they will divide your soul and fill it with cracks. Envy rots the bones. A heart without peace destroys the flesh.
Where there is a crack, darkness will enter.
That’s why it’s so important to close and seal them. Every unresolved resentment, every unhealed division, every allowed envy opens a door to disease. You cannot walk in divine health while your soul is fragmented by destructive emotions that the heavens reject.
Meditation for Today
Is there division, anger, envy or resentment in my heart that is dividing my soul and opening cracks to disease? Am I willing to close and seal those cracks?
Prayer
Father, I acknowledge that destructive emotions divide my soul and open cracks to disease.
I renounce division, anger, envy and resentment that the heavens reject.
Close and seal all the cracks in my soul, may Your peace restore my heart and bring life to my flesh.
Amen.
