1 John 3:1-2 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”
Romans 8:14 “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
Galatians 3:26 “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.”
Isaiah 53:4-5 “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”
Reflection
This is the hour of the awakening of the Children of God.
It’s not time to remain asleep in powerless religiosity. It’s not a moment to conform to a false identity. It is the hour to awaken to who we truly are in the Father’s design.
Children of God is the true name that Jesus gave us, he never called anyone Christian.
Review the gospels. Jesus never used the term “Christian” to identify His followers. He called us children of God, children of light, children of the day. This is not religious semantics, it’s spiritual identity.
In fact, the word Christian was an insult that the Greeks made to Paul and Silas.
“Look at the little Christians” they said, mocking. It was a derogatory term that meant “little christs,” a way to ridicule those who followed Christ.
Believe it or not, this is a powerful statement that makes you think that Christ is small within you.
When you identify with a term that originally meant “little Christ,” you unconsciously accept a limited identity. “My little Christ inside me can’t even heal a cold.”
THIS IS NOT GOD’S DESIGN.
God did not create you to carry a reduced, limited, incapable Christ. He created you as a child of God, with the fullness of Christ dwelling in you, with the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead giving life to your mortal body.
He paid an unimaginable price to take all sickness upon his body and give us divine health and life.
Jesus didn’t carry our diseases partially. He carried them all. He didn’t suffer our pains so we would continue suffering. By His wounds we were healed, past tense, completed action.
When you identify correctly as a child of God, not as a “little Christian,” you understand that Christ in you is not small. He is the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way. He is resurrection power operating without limitations.
Children of God don’t beg for healing. They manifest it because the Father already paid the full price. Children of God don’t accept sickness as normal because they know they were transferred from the kingdom of death to the kingdom of life.
This is the hour of awakening. Awaken to your true identity: child of God, not “little Christian.”
Meditation for Today
Do I identify as a child of God with the fullness of Christ in me, or as a “little Christian” with a limited Christ? Do I believe Jesus paid the full price for my health or do I accept sickness as normal?
Prayer
Father, I awaken to my true identity as a child of God.
I renounce every false identity, every concept that limits the fullness of Christ in me.
I am not a “little Christian” with a small, incapable Christ. I am a child of God with the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way dwelling in me.
I declare that Jesus paid an unimaginable price, that He carried all sickness in His body, that by His wounds I was healed.
I activate the divine health and life that already belong to me, and I manifest resurrection power in my mortal body.
This is the hour of my awakening as a child of God.
Amen.
Blessings beloved
