Jeremiah 31:33
“I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”
1 Corinthians 2:9–10
“Things which eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, are the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit…”
Romans 10:10
“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
🕊️ Reflection
If the laws of God are not written in your mind and in your heart, the issue is not effort—it is knowledge.
Not information,
but relationship.
You can know a religious system.
You can know rules, rituals, and spiritual language.
But if the laws of God do not live within you, you have not yet fully entered the New Covenant.
When God’s laws do not govern the interior life, the flesh finds room to be indulgent.
External religion can coexist with the flesh.
The New Covenant cannot.
God is not known through outward practices,
but through inward transformation.
He is known when His law becomes conscience,
when His will becomes desire,
when His truth becomes nature.
The apostle Paul reminds us that there are things that do not enter through the senses or the natural mind,
but that God causes them to rise from the heart to the mind by the Spirit,
for those who love Him.
The heart that believes unto righteousness enters the New Covenant of salvation.
And when we enter that covenant, God does something supernatural:
He places His law within us.
Not as a list we must follow,
but as a life that governs us.
🌱 The Divine Seed
When we enter the New Covenant with this awareness, the divine seed begets us.
1 John 3:9
“Whoever is born of God does not practice sin, for His seed remains in him…”
This does not mean perfection without process,
but a new nature.
The seed of God within us does not allow us to live comfortably in sin.
It does not permit us to justify what we once justified.
It does not let us return to a life governed by the flesh.
Not because of fear,
but because of life.
The law is no longer outside demanding;
it is inside governing.
🕯️ Meditation for Today
Take a few minutes in silence and reflect:
Am I living from a relationship with God or from a religious system?
Do the decisions I make flow from an inner law or merely from external rules?
Can I recognize the work of the divine seed transforming my desires?
Do not examine yourself with condemnation.
Do it honestly before God.
🙏 Prayer
Father,
today I acknowledge that I do not want to live from religion,
but from the New Covenant.
Write Your laws in my mind and in my heart.
Let Your seed govern my thoughts,
my desires, and my decisions.
May I not live indulgent toward the flesh,
but surrendered to Your life within me.
I want to know You,
not just know about You.
Amen.
