John 5:39–40
“You search the Scriptures… yet you refuse to come to Me that you may have life.”
Acts 2:1–4
“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven… and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…”
🕊️ Reflection
There is a question that reveals the true condition of our hearts before God:
Can I honestly say to Him,
“Lord, break my structures”?
Not just external structures,
but internal ones.
The ones that give us security.
The ones that allow us to stay in control.
The ones that make us feel we understand God without depending on Him.
Because if we are honest, many times we don’t really want new levels;
we want new experiences without losing old structures.
But God is not interested in reinforcing the old.
He is demanding a generation of resurrection.
Mark 2:22
“No one puts new wine into old wineskins…”
🔥 Resurrection and understanding
Resurrection is not only power.
It is a radical shift in understanding.
That is why it is crucial to understand something foundational:
The New Testament does not begin in Matthew 1.
It begins in Acts 2.
Acts 1:4–5
“…wait for the promise of the Father… you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Before the cross, there was promise.
After the cross, there is resurrected life.
But access to that life is manifested when the Holy Spirit is poured out.
Without the Holy Spirit, everything becomes structure.
With the Holy Spirit, everything becomes life.
🕊️ The Holy Spirit and prophetic dimensions
Whenever we speak of prophetic dimensions, we are inevitably speaking of the Holy Spirit.
There is no revelation without Him.
There is no living prophecy without Him.
There is no real connection between heaven and earth without Him.
1 Corinthians 2:10
“But God has revealed them to us through the Spirit…”
The Holy Spirit is the One who takes what is in heaven
and translates it into human language.
He is the One who breaks our mental categories
so we can receive what is eternal.
Religious structures seek to control the divine.
The Holy Spirit teaches us to surrender to Him.
🧱 What are so many structures for?
Structures may contain truth,
but they cannot produce life.
When structure becomes more important than Presence,
we stop advancing.
2 Corinthians 3:6
“…the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”
God is not looking for a more informed generation,
but for a transformed one.
A generation willing to be dismantled
in order to be rebuilt in resurrection.
🕯️ Meditation for today
Take a few moments in silence and reflect:
Which structures give me more security than the Holy Spirit?
Am I willing to let God break what I understand in order to lead me into what He sees?
Do I want resurrection, or only a renewal of what is familiar?
Do not answer quickly.
Resurrection always unsettles before it liberates.
🙏 Prayer
Holy Spirit,
I renounce my structures, my securities, and my need for control.
Break in me everything that prevents new levels of life.
I do not want to merely understand You; I want to live You.
Take me from letter to life,
from structure to resurrection,
from knowledge to revelation.
Amen.
